The art of learning Concentration has many benefits for children. Children as young as 2 and half years can be taught how to practice concentration and awareness.
This Vesak Day, as part of the Vesak Day activities, Junior and I will be practicing concentration using a lotus flower as an image at the heart center.

With Vesak coming up soon, I thought I’d work on some activities for Junior to enjoy and understand why we celebrate Vesak. To start off with we are doing a reading of Rabbit on the Moon by Jagath Asoka.
