Super Lunch For Super Moms

This is one of my favourite lunch options. I could replace rice and curry with this simple chickpeas salad. Its healthy and easy to fix too. So Mummies, if you and I think alike, here’s some thing to try out!20140311_112111


  • 1 1/2 cups of cooked chickpeas
  • Low fat curd
  • chopped onions
  • chopped green bell pepper
  • chopped tomatoes
  • dash of lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients with 2 tablespoons of low fat curd.
  2. Add chick peas in and give it a good mix.
  3. Add lime juice.

    It sure looks yummy and tastes so good. I had the ingredients at home,so I gave it a try. Had the salad with steamed basmathi rice.Very light and crunchy too.My grand daughter enjoyed it too. Good for old people like us because it’s not with a lot of sauces and stuff.Easy to digest……. I am thinking of having it with cheese toast next time for dinner…..

    When my sweety served me STEAMED RICE WITH YOUR SALAD, I thought here it goes again, one of HEALTHY SALADS , no other curries…! will it go down the throat……will I choke on it…THOUSAND AND ONE THOUGHTS.Cannot make my sweety upset too. So I gave it a try. I’M TELLING YOU…!IT IS GREAT,TASTY,AND WITH THE CURD IT TAKES THAT DRYNESS OUT,AND IT GOES DOWN THE THROAT. Any way I prefer to have a piece of chicken with it because I’M NOT A VEGETARIAN LIKE SUPER GRANNY……!
