Christmas Craft – Rudolph Christmas Tree Decoration

I love Rudolph and love this craft. What makes this craft special to me is that  it’s Junior’s hand print. Wonderful keepsake I think 🙂 Simple and fun and wonderful when hung on the tree.

Keep reading to find out how to get ‘crafting’!!

This is a fairly simple and straight-forward craft, but what I love about it is that you can make a tradition of this and do one each year and you have wonderful memorabilia!!

What Junior & I used:

  • Brown Board
  • Felt Pens
  • Googly eyes
  • Red pom pom
  • Sequins
  • Tinsel Pipe Cleaners
  • Scissors
  • Pencils
  • Glue Stick & PVA Glue
  • Single hole puncher

How Junior & I went about it:

  • Draw a hand print on the construction board and cut it out.
  • Paste the googly eyes (I have two versions – simply because Junior felt it was better to do his his way and I loved it 🙂 whatever inspires them!!!)
  • The red pom-pom is obviously for the nose so get pasting!!
  • You can make a hole using the puncher for where the antlers will be, if you don’t have a single hole puncher – it’s ok, use a pencil to make a hole! Run the tinsel pipe cleaner through and twist it around to form the antlers.
  • After completing the basic face of Rudolph you can go about decorating it by using anything from sequins to glitter!
  • Don’t forget to form another hole at the top where you can run a ribbon through to hang it on the tree!20131123_103528 20131123_103535 20131123_103540

Once dry – it’s very simply!! Hang it on the tree! Your very very own Rudolph decoration!!! 🙂 🙂

Till Next Time!!
