RECIPE – Soft Chewy Oatmeal Cookies – Breakfast Recipes

If you are looking for a quick breakfast idea that can be prepared before hand, this is something that you really must check out! It’s wholesome with just the right amount of sweetness and a quick healthy breakfast for the whole family!


These cookies literally took less than 15 minutes to prep – perfect for those busy school afternoons and they are unbelievably chewy and yummy!

Ingredients –

  • 75g rolled outs
  • 75g self raising flour
  • 75g flour
  • 75g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup

Method –

  1. Combine the flour, oats and sugar in a medium sized bowl and combine well.
  2. In a small pan melt the butter and combine milk and golden syrup. Leave for a minute to cool before combining with the dry ingredients.
  3. Once all the ingredients are combined well, make balls the size of golf balls.
  4. Using a greased baking tray, flatten the the balls.
  5. Bake for roughly about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

So there you have it!!! Super super easy Chewy Oatmeal Cookies!! Easy to be made and handed out for a quick healthy breakfast!
